The Sales and Marketing Manager plays a key role in the hotel's strategic management by collaborating with senior colleagues, especially the General Manager, Operations Manager, Finance Manager, and Human Resources Manager. This role supports strategic planning, business development, and maintains the hotel’s standards, brand integrity, and image.

What will I be doing?

As the Sales and Marketing Manager, your responsibilities include:

  1. Implementing sales action plans based on market segments and locations, aligned with the marketing plan.
  2. Contributing to departmental goals and the marketing budget.
  3. Monitoring accounts revenue and business performance for Corporate, FIT, M.I.C.E., and other groups.
  4. Maximizing up-selling opportunities.
  5. Assisting in forecasting rooms’ revenue and ATR for various market segments.
  6. Participating in travel functions and promotional events to promote hotel sales.
  7. Planning sales trips to major markets, with approval, and engaging with key accounts.
  8. Reporting market opportunities to the Commercial Manager.
  9. Gathering competitor information and reporting regularly.
  10. Maintaining client relationships through entertainment and activities.
  11. Welcoming key accounts, VIP guests, and conducting hotel inspections for walk-ins and groups.
  12. Maintaining hotel exposure through direct sales and communication channels.
  13. Negotiating banquet and outside catering events.
  14. Developing room nights and banquet revenue.
  15. Disseminating group information to departments and coordinating event requirements.
  16. Monitoring guest satisfaction during events and overseeing banquet operations.
  17. Reviewing billing and invoices, ensuring accuracy, and obtaining client feedback.
  18. Maintaining active account databases and supporting account management systems.
  19. Building strong relationships with internal departments and external clients.
  20. Performing additional duties as required, with the possibility of job description updates.
