Responsibilities

Through our conferences, summits, media platforms, research, and industry communities, we bring together technology providers, data center operators, investors, enterprises, government agencies, and other stakeholders shaping the future of digital infrastructure across Asia Pacific and international markets.

We are looking for an energetic and commercially minded Sales & Marketing Intern to join our Singapore team.

Conversion to full-time may be considered for the right candidate.

The Role

This internship provides hands-on exposure to both B2B sales and marketing, giving you the opportunity to work on major industry events, media campaigns, sponsorship programmes, and business development initiatives.

Sales & Business Development

• Research and identify potential sponsors, exhibitors, advertisers, and industry partners.
• Build and maintain prospect lists across target industries and markets.
• Support the sales team with prospecting and outreach through email, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Assist in preparing sponsorship proposals, sales presentations, and commercial materials.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify new business opportunities.
• Support follow-ups with prospective clients and maintain accurate records of sales activities.
• Assist with CRM updates, lead management, and pipeline tracking.
• Support client engagement before, during, and after events.

Marketing

• Support marketing campaigns for w.media conferences, summits, media products, and industry initiatives.
• Assist with social media content development and campaign execution, particularly on LinkedIn.
• Support email marketing campaigns, audience segmentation, and database management.
• Research and identify potential delegates, speakers, industry associations, and community partners.
• Assist with delegate acquisition and event registration campaigns.
• Support the creation of marketing materials, event announcements, speaker promotions, and sponsorship campaigns.
• Monitor campaign performance and assist with basic marketing reporting and analysis.
• Help maintain accurate and up-to-date marketing databases.

Events & Community

• Support the team in preparing for conferences, summits, networking events, and other industry programmes.
• Assist with sponsor, speaker, delegate, and partner coordination where required.
• Provide on-site support during events in Singapore when necessary.
• Help identify opportunities to grow w.media's industry community and strengthen engagement with key audiences.

Who We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Events, Media, or a related discipline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Comfortable speaking with new people and communicating with business professionals.
• Interested in developing commercial, sales, and marketing skills.
• Confident using platforms such as LinkedIn and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Organised, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proactive and willing to learn in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• An interest in technology, AI, data centers, digital infrastructure, media, or events would be an advantage but is not required.
