Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Engineer to join our growing team. This dual-role position combines sales and marketing responsibilities, with a focus on driving business growth through effective promotion, lead generation, client relationship management, and market analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both sales strategies and marketing techniques, with the ability to collaborate across departments to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients through cold-calling, networking, and online research. Build and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and meetings to showcase offerings and close deals.
  • Sales Reporting: Track sales performance, maintain accurate records in CRM, and report on sales metrics and progress toward targets.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to ensure profitable and long-term partnerships.

Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies that align with overall business goals.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Analyze campaign performance and sales data to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing efforts, making recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field (with min. experience for 2-3 years in sales roles) or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / chemical engineering (freshers also accepted).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in sales of machinal equipment to chemical manufacturing site / Pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate new ideas and strategies to generate sales / Enquiries.
