Job description

A Catering sales and Event Manager is responsible for generating business for catering and event services, including managing sales activities, building client relationships, coordinating event details, and negotiating contracts. They may also be involved in menu planning, event logistics, and managing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • -Identifying potential clients and generating leads through various channels, including sales calls, site visits, and networking.
  • -Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • -Working with clients to plan and coordinate event details, including menu selection, venue logistics, and staffing.
  • -Negotiating contracts and pricing for catering and event services.
  • -Responsible for safe, efficient transportation and delivery of customer catering orders and practice safe food handling procedures at all times
  • -Participate in the setup, service, and breakdown of catering events to ensure seamless execution.
  • -Work with the kitchen and service staff to maintain quality and timeliness of food and beverage service, ensuring the highest level of quality at all times.
  • -Assist in managing on-site staff to deliver excellent service and client satisfaction during events.
  • -Maintain equipment sanitation including but not limited to: vehicles, holding boxes/bags, beverage dispensers, etc
  • -Any ad-hoc duties pertaining to the services rendered
