Job summary

A leading e-commerce platform in Singapore is seeking a Business Consultant to support the acquisition of online sellers. This role involves engaging sellers, providing insights for their growth, and ensuring a positive onboarding experience. Candidates should have a degree and relevant experience in business development, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cold calling, business development &/or account management.
  • Computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table & vLookup) and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Basic photo editing and Photoshop skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Acquire online and offline sellers and onboard them onto our platform.
  • Negotiate and construct pitches to convince sellers to join Lazada.
  • Analyze performance and prepare weekly/monthly progress reports.

Job Description:

You will play an important role in leading and supporting the acquisition of potential sellers and also serve as a business consultant to Lazada’s online business owners / sellers, assisting them to achieve their business goals.

Responsibilities:

- Acquire online and offline sellers by reaching out to them, understanding seller’s needs and concerns and onboard into our platform for a mutually beneficial long-term partnership.

- Construct, pitch and negotiate with sellers to convince them to join Lazada.

- Be the point of contact for matters specific to your accounts and our sellers during the onboarding process while assisting sellers with their sign up process, documentation and product uploading.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with sellers and internal stakeholders to ensure continuous growth and acquisition targets are achieved.

- Collaborate closely with incubation team to support sellers’ growth and provide a positive seller journey.

- Analyze performance and prepare reports to present progress on a weekly and monthly basis along with providing solutions to blockers and challenges faced by the team and sellers.

Job Requirements:

- Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

- Computer savvy and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table & vLookup) and Microsoft PowerPoint.

- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cold calling, business development &/or account management.

- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness.

- Basic photo editing and photoshop skills will be advantageous.

- Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
