Survival Systems International (SSI) is an innovative lifeboat manufacturing company that provides offshore operators with the equipment, the instruction, and the knowledge to achieve a safe evacuation when an emergency occurs on an offshore installation. SSI has a global network of owned and operated service bases for the purpose of multi brand inspection, maintenance, and repair. In 50 years of continuous service to the industry our lifeboats have successfully evacuated over 2,200 offshore personnel in more than 60 emergency situations. For this reason, SSI has become the trusted partner to worldwide users spanning Offshore, Maritime and Cruise.

We are looking for a Sales Administrator to join our team in Singapore. Reporting to the Head of Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting revenue generation and maintaining and expanding market share in the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming requests, prepare offers and create order confirmations
  • Maintain and use the CRM database
  • Cooperate with service, technical department, finance, and logistics to ensure a good project plan/service planning and execution
  • Enhance all activities within the QA system, and current HSEQ regulations
  • Manage sales activities within defined areas
  • Ensure customer relationships are maintained during the sales process
  • Secure engineering resources to support the sales process
  • Achieve sales targets in cooperation with the Managing Director
  • Regular contact with agents, shipyards, ship owners, consultants, prospective customers, etc.
  • Contribute to prioritizing the Sales team to optimize sales work according to the company's marketing plan and strategy
  • Provide input to maintain an optimal product range in accordance with market requirements
  • Participate in public relations activities in collaboration with the marketing director and marketing coordinator for the group
  • Contribute to exhibitions, fairs, demonstrations, etc.
  • Prepare quotations and carry out the sales process in accordance with work instructions
  • Register orders in accordance with the latest work instructions
  • During internal contract review, help ensure that products are ordered as accurately as possible
  • Gather market intelligence to keep the company up to date on market position, prices, competitive conditions, etc.
Personal Qualities and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales; prior experience in marine, offshore, and/or oil & gas industries will be an added advantage
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills
  • Ability to analyze consumer data to optimize sales efforts
  • Knowledge of industry trends and regulations
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and staff members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with a high level of dedication
