About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety Representative to join our team for a major construction project in Singapore. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting our Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of safety excellence across all project phases.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in developing and maintaining WSH audit procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Review and update existing audit procedures to keep them relevant and effective.
  • Coordinate and conduct WSH audits, including document reviews, site inspections, and interviews with key personnel.
  • Assist in creating, reviewing, and updating the WSH audit schedule for systematic evaluations.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions; regularly review and update these reports.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions implemented to address audit findings.
  • Assist in developing comprehensive WSH training materials tailored to organizational and project needs.
  • Periodically review and update training materials to reflect changes in regulations or workplace hazards.
  • Support the delivery of WSH training sessions to employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Review identified hazards and assist in developing corrective action plans, prioritizing safety improvements.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and assess their effectiveness in mitigating risks.
  • Undertake any additional WSH-related duties as assigned by client managers or organizational leadership

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar safety management role within the construction industry.
  • Must be a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM.
  • Sound knowledge of Singapore’s WSH regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
