Job Purpose
We are looking to hire a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure full compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations for our jobsite and building facilities. The ideal candidate will be a MOM-registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and a certified Fire Safety Manager, capable of leading safety efforts across all levels of the organization.Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with MOM Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, SCDF fire safety requirements, and other applicable codes.
Serve as the appointed Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) and Fire Safety Manager for the company.
Oversee and enforce safety practices on the jobsite and within the building premises.
Develop and implement safety policies, risk assessments, and standard operating procedures.
Conduct regular safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments.
Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct WSH Committee Meetings, take minutes, and prepare and submit WSH Committee Reports.
Ensure first aid boxes are adequately stocked and maintained across all sites and facilities.
Plan and deliver safety training, briefings, and drills for all staff and contractors.
Liaise with regulatory authorities such as MOM, SCDF, and other relevant agencies.
Promote a proactive safety culture and ensure all staff understand their roles and responsibilities regarding health and safety.Requirements

Strong knowledge of local WSH regulations, fire safety codes, and emergency response practices

Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
Experience with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001) is a plus
Certification in first aid or emergency response planning is advantageous
