Analyse data on Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) performance, conditions and practices.
Carry out WSH compliance inspections.
Clarify WSH programme requirements to employees.
Coordinate with sub contractors to resolve all matters on safety.
Coordinate on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices.
Conduct WSH incident and accident investigations.
Train and support personnel on safety projects and resources.
Ensure supervisors and workers are following safe work procedures compliance.
Conduct document reviews of Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) reports.
Coordinate Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) drills and the maintenance of emergency response equipment.
Coordinate WSH programme initiatives.
Develop and deliver safety briefings.
Evaluate WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify WSH performance gaps.
Evaluate impact of health hazards to employees’ safety and prioritize issues based on severity.
Highlight barriers in complying with WSH policy and procedure.
Identify areas for improvement in the WSHMS.
Implement Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) and communicate it to stakeholders.
Implement Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS) and Risk Management (RM) plans within scope of own work.
Maintain WSHMS documentation.
Monitor the implementation progress of recommended WSHMS improvements.
Propose corrective and preventive measures to address root causes of incidents.
Review investigation findings to identify causes of incidents and accidents.
Support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policy and procedures implementation.
Ensure proper documentation for all safety, environmental and health disciplines.
Requirements
Registered WSH Officer certification.
Possess WAH relevant certificates, Confined space assessor, BCSS & PSM from SP Group.
Degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or related fields (preferred).
Min. 2 years post relevant experience in Building and Construction Industry.
Experience in workplace safety management.
Knowledge of risk assessments and hazard identification.
Knowledge of Singapore’s WSH regulations and safety standards.
Ability to develop and implement safety protocols.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
Strong communication and training skills.
Problem-solving skills for hazard prevention.
With Class 2B or Class 3 driving license.
