Job summary

A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Safety Officer cum Drafter to ensure adherence to safety protocols and perform drafting tasks using AutoCAD. This role requires relevant experience in safety coordination and project management, with a focus on promoting safety awareness among staff. The candidate will be responsible for preparing safety documentation and conducting safety orientations, ensuring that workplace safety standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in Safety Officer and safety coordination.
• Preferably with experience in site coordination and installation works.

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety rules per SOP and work instructions.
• Prepare documents for risk assessment and method statement.
• Conduct safety orientation meetings for technical staff.

Job description

Safety Officer cum Drafter

• Working Days: 5 Days (Mon-Fri)
• Working Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm
• Location: Ang Mo Kio
• Salary $2,800 - $3,500

Job Descriptions:

• To carry out Safety rules accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions at site.
• To set expectations and establish core emergency response skill and knowledge to undertake the responsibilities of a Site Incident Controller (SIC).
• To prepare documents for risk assessment and method statement.
• Provide monthly meetings on safety orientation to Technical staff
• To do drawing for project sites using Auto-cad for draughting.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant 1 to 2 years’ experience for Safety Officer and safety co-ordination work.
• Advance Certificate in Workplace safety and Health (Level B and Above.)
• Preferably with experience in site coordination, project management (PM), and installation works.
• Advantageous to have experience in service and facility maintenance for hospitals, nursing homes, and industrial sites.
• Proficient in MS Office, PC literate, and well-versed in AutoCAD drawing.
