Job description

Responsibilities

• Execute local safety, Health and Environmental Protection Policy, and Company related provision, to help the company to improve the equipment operation and maintenance period safety work
• Formulate company annual job health safety and environmental working plan, formulate annual safety skill plan, and apply after reviewed by the in-charged group
• Identify unsafe condition and unsafe work practice
• Participate in risk management activities
• Recommend and assist implementation of corrective and preventive actions
• To organize and attend the health safety check and environmental protection check and point out the problem for further improvement
• Participate in safety meeting and safety committee
• Liaise with the contractors, external parties, certifying agency and regulatory department pertaining to EHS matters
• Conduct Safety Induction Training for new workers
• To respond promptly to and investigate any accident, dangerous occurrence or occupational disease that occurred within the worksite and advise on the remedial control measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence
• Able to speak in English and Mandarin (to communicate with Mandarin speaking vendors / clients)
• Any other duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

• Holders of Specialist Diploma in WSH (Level C)
• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with Ministry of Manpower (MOM)
• Good understanding of Workplace Safety and Health Act and others safety regulations from other Governmental authorities e.g. NEA, SCDF etc.
• Minimum 3 years of related work experience
