About the role
Our client, Quality Engineering Pte Ltd, is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Safety Manager to join their team. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees on construction sites.
What you'll be doing
Developing, implementing and monitoring comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
Conducting regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks
Providing training and coaching to employees on safety best practices
Investigating and reporting on incidents, accidents and near-misses
Collaborating with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of construction activities
Staying up-to-date with the latest health and safety regulations and industry best practices
Maintaining accurate record-keeping and documentation related to safety activities
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Manager in the construction industry
Thorough understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and legislation
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards
