Position Overview:

The Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of the company’s health and safety programs. This role ensures a safe working environment for all employees and promotes a strong safety culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Creating and implementing safety policies, procedures, and programs to comply with regulations and minimize workplace hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with department managers to promote safe work practices.
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee training sessions.
  • Serve as the point of contact for safety-related matters, including regulatory inspections.
  • Designing and implementing a Workplace Safety and Health Management System (WSHMS).
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Qualifications:
