Job description

Join our team as a Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) professional and play a critical role in ensuring safety across our solar project sites in Singapore. We are seeking a proactive and experienced individual to manage and enforce safety compliance for both rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Compliance & Inspections: Ensure full safety compliance at solar project sites, conducting regular inspections and enforcing Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
  • Risk Management: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective control measures to mitigate hazards.
  • Safety Leadership: Lead safety inductions, daily toolbox meetings, and site safety briefings to promote a strong safety culture among all workers.
  • Incident Management: Assist in the investigation of incidents and accidents, ensuring prompt follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Support the planning and execution of emergency drills.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare, maintain, and update all required safety documents, including Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Fall Prevention Plans, and Lifting Plans.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key liaison for safety matters with site teams, clients, and regulatory authorities such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
  • Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous safety records, logs, and reports.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant safety experience, with a proven track record in the construction or renewable energy sector, specifically on solar PV projects (rooftop and/or ground-mounted).
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.

Education & Professional Qualifications:

  • Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B)
  • Certificate in Developing a Risk Management Implementation Plan
  • Occupational First Aid Course Certification
  • WSQ Certificate in Managing Work at Height
