Job summary

A leading company in the petrochemical sector is seeking a Safety Officer. You will conduct site safety inspections, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience and a Safety and Health certificate.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years of experience in workplace safety, health, and security.
• Experience in petrochemical/oil/gas industry preferred.
• Familiar with site safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Job Description & Requirements

- Carry out and conduct site safety inspection

- Identify safety lapses and carry out rectification

- Conduct safety talks

- Generate safety reports and conduct safety toolbox meeting

- Ensure and educate safety requirements and compliance with Plant Owner/Stakeholder.

- Liaise closely with Plant Owner/Client/Stakeholder on all safety aspects.

- Carry out safety investigation and recommend measures

- Carry out safe work practice and adhere to safety measures including Safe mangement system

- Conduct check on permit to work etc.

Requirements

Min. 3 or more years of related work experience in workplace safety, health, and security.

Recognise certificate in Safety and Health awarded by MOM/WSQ.

Must have relevant work experience in Petrolchemical/Oil/Gas industry is preferred.

Safety conscious and conscientious

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work in Jurong Island

Familiar with safety requirements at site.
