Job summary

ABRAHAM INTERNATIONAL PROCESS ENGINEERING CORP. PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Safety Coordinator to support the Project Manager on safety, health, environment and security for all sites. You will implement the WSHE Manual and drive compliance across the workforce.

You will organise daily inspections, maintain records, conduct toolbox talks and promote a safety culture through ongoing training and advisory support to site personnel in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate in safety coordinator’s course or Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or above.
• 2 years’ experience in Process Oil & Gas, Chemical industries.
• Experience in a multi-cultural workforce preferred.
• Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of OSH guidelines and practices.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills.
• Diligent and cooperative.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Project Manager on safety, environmental, health and security matters for workplaces.
• Implement the WSHE Manual and ensure compliance at the highest level.
• Organise daily safety inspections and recommend corrective actions for non‑compliance.
• Maintain site safety and health records and conduct toolbox talks.

Job description

Job Description:

• Co-ordinate with Project Manager on matters pertaining to safety, environmental, health and security of the workplaces.
• Environmental health safety and security training, promotion, and enforcement on all site personnel under his control.
• Implement the Project's WSHE Manual and ensure highest compliance level.
• Organise and / or conduct daily SHE inspection and recommend corrective measures to rectify any non-compliance observed.
• Maintain site safety and health records.
• Organise and ensure safety and health talks and toolbox meetings are conducted.
• Recommend safety, environmental, health and security measures to the WSHE committee.
• Investigate all accidents and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrence.

Requirements:

• Possess a certificate in safety coordinator’s course or An Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or above and other relevant certificates.
• 2 years of working experience in in Process Oil & Gas, Chemical industries
• Experience working in a multi-cultural workforce is preferred.
• Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar
