Job summary

alink engineering pte. ltd. is seeking an experienced EHS professional in Singapore to develop and implement a comprehensive Safety Management System.

You will conduct risk assessments, ensure compliance with MOM regulations, and liaise with authorities as needed. The role requires strong leadership to drive audits and safety improvements. Responsibilities include organizing safety training, managing high-risk PTW activities, and promoting a proactive safety culture across multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in WSH related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant safety experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong knowledge of MOM regulations and workplace safety standards.
• Risk management: hazard identification, risk assessment, mitigation planning.
• Excellent communication with internal staff and external stakeholders.
• Ability to lead safety audits and investigations into incidents.
• Training and mentoring to foster a safety-first culture.
• Leadership and teamwork to manage multi-department EHS functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Safety Management System and policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose control measures.
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations; liaise with MOM and authorities.
• Perform safety inspections and audits on worksites.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; prepare corrective actions.
• Organize WSH training programs and toolbox talks.
• Monitor PTW system for high-risk activities (hot works, confined spaces, lifts).
• Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
• Maintain safety records and promote a safety culture across the organization.
