Job summary

Standard Chartered SABRE team in Singapore seeks a senior Java developer to build components of the Sabre Strategic Trade Booking and Lifecycling platform. You will partner with a global delivery team to deliver robust, scalable Java services with strong test coverage and evolving architecture.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of hands-on development in investment banking IT, experience with Agile, TDD and BDD, and willingness to work outside normal hours to support global applications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on development experience in investment banking IT.
• Experience with Agile and TDD/BDD in a commercial environment.
• Willingness to work out of office hours to support global applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Java components to internal business users.
• Demonstrate disciplined architectural and system design approaches.
• Write robust code with thorough test coverage and documentation.
• Coordinate with Technology teams and stakeholders.
• Provide second-line support during production issues.
