Job summary

DBS Asia Hub in Singapore is seeking a DLP System Operations & Support Specialist to manage daily DLP operations, triage alerts, review cases, and improve data-protection policies across endpoints, email, network, and cloud.

You will collaborate with Security Operations, IT, Risk, Legal, Privacy, and business teams, provide on-call support, and maintain runbooks and audit evidence to strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in DLP administration, cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, or system support.
• Ability to analyze alerts, case trends, logs, and system behavior and translate findings into policy improvements.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support the DLP platform: Monitor system health, service availability; perform routine administration and troubleshooting.
• Triage alerts and cases: Validate policy matches, assess risk, document findings, support investigations, and escalate confirmed incidents.
• Drive continuous policy enhancement: Review DLP cases and trends to identify false positives, false negatives, emerging risks, and coverage gaps; implement policy changes.
• Manage the DLP policy lifecycle: Create, modify, update, and remove DLP policies with governance, testing, change-management and documentation processes.
• Support users and exceptions: Resolve blocked transactions and DLP enquiries, and administer approved exceptions with scope, evidence, and expiry dates.
• Report and review: Produce regular reports on DLP incidents, trends, risks, and actions with Line 2 stakeholders; maintain runbooks and audit evidence.
• Collaborate: Work with Security Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Legal, and business teams to strengthen controls.
• System support: Maintain data protection systems to ensure reliable BAU operations.
