Contract Type: Permanent Contract

Job Summary

The department is responsible for developing and maintaining Capital Market IT applications used worldwide, including Front Office (e.g., Murex, Apex), Back Office (e.g., Summit, Calypso), Market Data, and Market Risk applications.

The RSF IT division supports the full value chain to sustain and accelerate business activities. This role focuses on developing and maintaining the Calypso back office package, supporting project and operational activities, requiring a deep understanding of business operations, data flow, and system interactions. The team collaborates closely with business users, infrastructure engineers, and system managers.

Main Responsibilities

• Build & Change Management: Develop in JAVA for Calypso v14.4, develop internal components, manage incidents and requests, communicate effectively, analyze enhancement requests and bugs, document deliveries.
• Change Management: Implement monthly release strategies, support production release roadmap.
• Operations Management: Provide Level 3 application support, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Continuous Improvement: Process improvements and coaching junior team members.

Qualifications and Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Calypso developer.
• Strong knowledge of Java, PL/SQL, Linux.
• Experience with Calypso versions higher than v13.
• Hands-on experience with Calypso modules such as Custom Remote Services, Engines, Events, Filters, Reporting Framework, and others listed.
• Understanding of financial assets, trade lifecycle, and regulatory reporting.
• Experience with external system interfaces, implementation projects, and AGILE methodology.
• Proficiency with GIT, SVN, Jenkins, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and databases like Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB.
• Willingness to support Level 3 issues and participate in on-call rotations.

Additional Information

Candidate should have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, be proactive about security, and capable of working under pressure both independently and in teams.

Education

Master's degree in IT, finance, or related fields, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.

Shift Timings

Work in shifts for Asia or EMEA regions, including on-call support during nights and weekends.
