Job description

As a Room Attendant, you are responsible for ensuring guest rooms are clean, orderly, and inviting. You will play a critical role in delivering a memorable guest experience by maintaining the cleanliness and comfort standards of the property.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Carrying out detailed cleaning of hotel rooms and suites according to standard operating procedures
  • Making sure every single room is at its absolute best for our guests
  • Assisting guest with their request for room amenities and directional to find the elevator
  • Keeping supervisor updated on room cleaning progress and alert them to any problem or repairs needed
  • Monitoring and controlling supplies and amenities to minimise waste
  • Reporting, turning in, and/or logging all lost and found items according to established procedures
  • Regularly assisting with deep clean projects

What we need from you

  • It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important
  • Occasional lifting of items (eg, bed) up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects (eg, trolley)
  • You may need to bend and kneel to complete some job activities
  • Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills
  • Flexible attitude to work rotating shifts hours over weekends and public holidays- Morning, Afternoon and Night Shift (5 days work week, 9.5hours per shift including 45 minutes meal break) over weekends and public holidays
