Job summary

DELUGE FIRE PROTECTION (S.E.A.) PTE LTD is seeking a production operator to operate automated robotic welding and plasma cutting equipment on the shop floor. You will load and unload parts according to process flow and monitor machine performance to ensure smooth production.

Responsibilities include basic troubleshooting, ensuring safety, coordinating with maintenance for servicing, recording outputs and downtime, and supporting parameter adjustments under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate the automated robotic welding and plasma cutting machine during production.
• Load and unload parts according to the required process flow.
• Monitor machine operation, robot movement, welding and plasma cutting conditions, conveyor movement, vision inspection results and overall production status.
• Perform basic troubleshooting when alarms, misalignment, sensor, conveyor or robot stoppages occur.
• Check and ensure the machine operates safely before and during production.
• Coordinate with engineering or maintenance teams for servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Carry out basic cleaning, inspections and daily machine checks.
• Record production output, machine issues, downtime and quality observations.
• Support simple parameter adjustments under supervision (e.g., conveyor speed, part positioning, welding/cutting sequence, robot program selection).
• Follow safety procedures around robotic arms, welding equipment, plasma cutting equipment, electrical panels, moving conveyors and servo-driven mechanisms.
