Job description

As a Robotic Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of robotic deployment and maintenance. This includes pre-sales demos, customer training, field deployment, and technical troubleshooting (both hardware and software). You'll also have opportunities to work on developmental aspects such as system configuration and feedback-based improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Deployment & Field Operations

  • Support robotic deployment at client sites: site assessments, setup, installation, testing, and training of operators.
  • Work alongside the sales team to conduct live demos of robotic solutions.
  • Install robotic peripherals (e.g., charging docks, RFID tags, WiFi/radio transmitters, initialization points).

Technical Servicing & Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and basic software issues (sensors, encoders, wiring, circuit boards, motors, etc.).
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to keep robots in top condition.
  • Use diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or robotic testing software to verify system performance.
  • Disassemble and reassemble robotic components for servicing and testing.

System Development & Customer Training

  • Program or modify robotic path motions to improve operational efficiency and safety.
  • Train customer teams and operators on the use and upkeep of robotic systems.
  • Provide field feedback to engineering teams for continual improvement.
  • Maintain accurate service logs and technical documentation.
