Job summary

Eureka Robotics in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Robotics Engineer to design, prototype, and deploy hardware concepts in a robotics system. You will collaborate with software engineers to integrate mechanical, electrical, and control aspects using the Eureka Controller and Eureka Camera.

Fresh graduates welcome; requires a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, proficiency in SolidWorks or OnShape, Python, and fundamentals of algorithms, linear algebra and statistics.

Qualifications

• Minimum: BSc or higher in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or OnShape.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with git and shell scripting.
• Background in algorithms (complexity) and mathematics (linear algebra, probability, statistics).
• Preferred familiarity with professional working processes (planning, documentation, time-management).
• Strong proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/OnShape) and Python for robotics or AI.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for robotic systems (actuators, grippers, frames, structures).
• Work with Robotics Engineers (Software) to integrate mechanical and electrical components.
• Use CAD tools to create 3D models, drawings, and prototypes; conduct analyses and tests.
• Develop design specs, assembly instructions, and manufacturing guidelines.
• Prototype development, testing, validation of mechanical designs, and collaboration with manufacturing.
