Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte. Ltd is seeking reliable event support staff to assist with robotics demonstrations at events in Singapore. You will safely move and set up robots weighing up to 35 kg, troubleshoot basic WiFi, and operate robots remotely after training.

The role requires 3 days per week with 4–5 hour shifts after 5.30 PM, including evenings and weekends when events occur. Comprehensive training is provided, and a minimum 3-month commitment is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or Degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Able to commit for a minimum of 3 months.
• Able to perform manual tasks and lift robots weighing up to 35 kg.

Responsibilities

• Safely move, lift, and position robots weighing 30 to 35 kg during events.
• Set up robots for demonstrations and reposition them as required throughout the day.
• Troubleshoot basic WiFi connectivity issues by following established procedures.
• Operate robots remotely using handheld controllers after completing training.
• Perform routine checks to ensure robots are operating smoothly.
• Guide robot movement safely around attendees and maintain clear walkways.
• Respond promptly to any operational or safety issues during live events.
• Available to work evenings and outside regular office hours when required.
• Available to work weekends based on event schedules.
• Receive comprehensive training on robot operation, troubleshooting, and remote controls.
• Work alongside the technical team, with on-site support provided during events.
