Job summary

General Robotics Technology PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks candidates with robotics and machine learning expertise, including multimodal ML, computer vision, LLMs/VLMs/VLAs, diffusion/flow matching, and RL/IIL for robotics.

Responsibilities include designing methods and infrastructure to push the state of the art, developing AI models for robotics applications, and shaping research goals with practical engineering concerns. Collaboration across simulation platforms and real-world data is expected.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or Master's in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• Qualified to obtain authorization in the country of employment
• Research experience in machine learning, robotics, and computer vision
• Experience developing robotics algorithms or ML models at scale
• Programming in Python/C++ with PyTorch or Jax

Responsibilities

• Design methods, tools, and infrastructure to advance robotics and foundation models
• Develop and adapt AI models for robotics applications (e.g., CV, SLAM, navigation)
• Define research goals informed by engineering needs
• Adapt ML models/frameworks to robotics applications
• Work with high-fidelity simulation platforms for synthetic data generation
• Design data loading and training pipelines for large-scale training
• Contribute to experiments, including design, coding, evaluation, and results organization
• Translate field patterns and customer requirements into scalable features for the GRID platform and lead data collection campaigns
