Job Description
The company's business involves Software Development for Process Control Automation, Motion Control, IT, and Analytics.
If you want to learn how to build Robotic and Automation Control systems, this is the job for you. Training will be provided.
Skill Sets we are looking for:
- Familiar with Robots / Cobots of various brands
- Software for Movement Controls using PLCs such as Omron, Schneider, Siemens, Allen Bradley, GE Fanuc, etc.
- 3D Design using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and related design for Mechatronics Systems
- Implementation of 2D and 3D vision systems for robots, pick-and-place, or quality detection
- User Interface development using HMI software, with coding in programming languages if required
- Electrical & Design skills for Power Controls, VSD, DOL Motors, Relay Logic for panels
- Understanding of Sensors & Actuators in automation
Work is Monday to Friday. As project engineers, you are expected to learn, work diligently, and complete assignments, including overtime. This role is not suitable for those seeking easy hours for part-time studies or work-life balance.
Required Skills
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering with a focus on software programming or Computer Science with an interest in Industrial Automation
- Experience with leading brands of Robots or Cobots (e.g., Omron, Fanuc, Kuka) is preferred
- Proficiency in 3D visualization using Fusion 360 or SolidWorks
- Experience with PLC brands such as Schneider, Siemens, Omron, Wago, Mitsubishi; knowledge of IEC1131 languages
- Fluency in automation programming languages; intermediate programming skills in VB, C, C++, Java, C# are a plus
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design, from basic Ohm's law to power distribution
- Experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided to develop all-round skills for independent work
- Applicants planning to pursue further studies within a year or doing part-time studies need not apply, as the role requires on-the-job learning
- Candidate should be proactive, able to work independently, manage projects with minimal supervision, and interact with customers technically and commercially
This is a project-oriented role requiring continuous learning and hard work. It is not suitable for individuals with other private commitments like part-time studies, part-time work, or business ventures.
Additional Considerations
- Applications from Malaysia only under WP; other countries may require EP or S Pass, especially if not from India/Malaysia
