Job summary

Garena is seeking an aspiring game designer/artist for a role that may be a three-month internship or a full-time project-based contract in Singapore.

You will design game-ready Roblox assets, contribute to progression and rewards, prototype ideas, and iterate based on feedback, while optimizing for performance. A portfolio is required, and collaboration with programmers is essential.

Qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing art, animation, or game design work.
• Strong understanding of game design principles and player experience.
• Familiarity with design docs, wireframes, and feature specs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement game-ready art assets for Roblox games.
• Contribute to gameplay loops, progression, economy, and rewards.
• Prototype visual concepts, test ideas, and iterate from feedback.
• Identify pain points from playtesting and translate to solutions.
• Support UI, animation, and VFX across features and seasonal content.
• Optimize assets for low-poly and performance constraints.
• Participate in planning, playtesting, and product improvement.
• Stay updated with Roblox platform updates and tools.
