An established industry player is seeking a Roaming Desktop Engineer to provide exceptional support across various client platforms. This role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining documentation, and ensuring effective end-user support. Location (Nearest MRT): Island Wide
Salary: Up to $2,400 Basic Salary (Depends on highest qualification & relevant experience)
Duration of Work: 1 Year Direct Contract
Work Days: Monday to Friday
Flexible Work Hours:7.00 AM to 4.00 PM

Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot issues related to client platforms and provide timely resolution.
Respond to service requests involving client platform support and maintenance.
Track service level agreements (SLAs), maintain documentation of system configurations, and generate regular reports.
Support the implementation and upgrading of client platforms as part of project initiatives.
Coordinate with vendors to arrange hardware replacements when necessary.
Maintain accurate asset inventories and manage user accounts (e.g., creation, password resets, and deactivation).
Administer local servers to support software deployment and patch management processes.
Lead or support client platform deployment and upgrade projects.
Ensure deliverables are aligned with SLA expectations and propose corrective actions as needed.
Develop and uphold standards and best practices for facilities and project management to ensure consistent operations.
Provide regular updates through detailed progress reports.
Diagnose and resolve incidents involving ICT equipment; offer support for all IT-related concerns.
Set up ICT equipment and ensure end-user support is delivered effectively.
Log updates of ICT equipment in the Management System within three working days.
Assist in transporting mobile ICT carts to designated classrooms.
Perform routine and scheduled operational tasks.
Create and maintain standard hard disk images on a regular basis.
Conduct reinstallation or cloning of desktop environments as required.
Participate in annual physical stock-taking exercises for ICT assets.
Install application updates and confirm that all end-user computing devices (EUCDs) are equipped with the latest security patches
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of desktop support experience is required
Must be willing to travel Islandwide
Good communication and interpersonal skills
