Job Description: HM WaterTech is seeking a skilled Water Treatment Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing comprehensive water treatment solutions, including RO plants, STP/ETP systems, and related components. This role involves process design, equipment selection, and proposal preparation to deliver effective, efficient, and sustainable water treatment solutions for clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process & Instrumentation Design (P&ID): Develop P&IDs for water treatment projects, ensuring systems are effectively designed and optimized for client specifications.
2. RO Plant Design: Design Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems tailored to project requirements and water quality reports. Run projections and simulations to optimize performance.
3. STP/ETP Plant Design: Create and execute designs for Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP) meeting industry standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Equipment Selection: Select appropriate pumps, motors, and other components based on flow rate, system pressure, and project needs.
5. Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals including system design, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
6. Collaboration & Client Engagement: Work with sales and support teams to understand client needs, attend meetings, and deliver technical presentations.
7. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of project designs, calculations, and equipment specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in water treatment system design, focusing on RO, WTPs, STP, and ETP systems.
• Proficiency in designing P&IDs and familiarity with CAD software.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment specs, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting water quality reports and running projections.
• Excellent communication skills for proposals and client presentations.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
