Job summary

BeathChapman Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Risk Strategy Lead to build and lead its Risk Control & Operations function from the ground up. This core, early-stage role balances maximizing transaction approvals with strong compliance security.

You will establish dual-track review SOPs and a tiered risk framework, driving automation and collaboration with Product and Engineering, Sales, Compliance and Product teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in risk control, compliance, or operations within cross-border payments or B2B settlements.
• Proven experience leading teams or designing and launching operational workflows from the ground up is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the review and resolution of complex, high-risk cases involving cross-border trade documentation and on-chain fund tracing.
• Establish dual-track review SOPs and a tiered risk framework for transaction authenticity verification and on-chain compliance/KYT.
• Drive risk control automation by codifying expert rules into system logic in collaboration with Product and Engineering.
• Set SLAs for the risk team and act as the primary point of contact for risk control, coordinating with Sales, Compliance and Product teams.

Job description

A global B2B payment network is looking for an experienced Risk Strategy Lead to build and lead its Risk Control & Operations function from the ground up. This is a core, early-stage role focused on striking the optimal balance between maximising transaction approval rates and maintaining robust compliance security.

In this role, you will establish dual-track review SOPs and a tiered risk framework, covering transaction authenticity verification, on-chain compliance/KYT, and a multi-dimensional risk segmentation model. You will lead the review and resolution of complex, high-risk cases involving cross-border trade documentation and on-chain fund tracing, and design balanced risk policies for non-standard scenarios such as third-party payments and self-hosted wallet inflows. You will also drive risk control automation by codifying expert rules into system logic in collaboration with Product and Engineering, establish SLAs for the risk team, and act as the primary point of contact for risk control, working closely with Sales, Compliance, and Product teams.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in risk control, compliance, or operations within cross-border payments or B2B settlement, with proven experience leading teams or designing and launching operational workflows from the ground up strongly preferred.
