Stripe is seeking a Risk Strategist for the APAC Risk team to identify and manage risk across Local Payment Methods and product launches. You will build agent-based workflows and scalable risk controls, partnering with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations to drive responsible product growth.
You will help define risk strategy, monitor outcomes, and communicate complex risk issues with clear, actionable recommendations to cross-functional partners across the region.
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies, from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups, use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and pursue new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet. We have significant work ahead, which gives you the opportunity to do important work that expands access to the global economy.
The APAC Risk team helps Stripe launch and grow products responsibly. We work closely with global Product, Partnerships, and Risk teams to identify product risks early, define practical controls, and make risk decisions easier to execute at scale.
As a Risk Strategist, you will help Stripe launch new Local Payment Methods (LPMs) and other products safely as part of our broader global expansion efforts. You will be part of a team that identifies, assesses, and manages risk across LPMs and other product launches. Your focus will be on building agent-based workflows that help scale LPM launches and related risk assessments across cross-functional teams.
You are comfortable working in ambiguous spaces where products, risks, and processes are still being defined. You can reason through risk scenarios, bring structure to complex questions, and work with technical partners to turn recommendations into scalable solutions.
You are also motivated by improving how work gets done. You do not only identify risks. You look for ways to make risk assessment, decision-making, and monitoring more automated, consistent, and useful for the teams building Stripe products.
