Risk Manager | Aircraft Leasing | Singapore

About the Job:

A global aircraft leasing platform is seeking a Risk Manager to join its growing team in Singapore. This is a key role within the credit and portfolio risk function, supporting the evaluation of transaction and counterparty risk, as well as broader portfolio and jurisdictional exposures. The successful candidate will be actively involved in lessee due diligence and internal deal approval processes across the Asia-Pacific region. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is essential.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for new and existing counterparties
  • Undertake financial and strategic due diligence, including senior-level management interviews
  • Draft and present credit approval memos to the internal risk committee
  • Monitor ongoing credit exposures and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures
  • Track and report on country-specific and macroeconomic risk developments
  • Support workout strategies and contribute to recovery efforts for distressed accounts

  • Qualifications:


  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in credit, risk, or financial analysis, ideally in aviation or financial services
  • Degree-qualified in Economics, Accountancy, or a related discipline
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial acumen
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
  • Experience conducting onsite customer assessments is preferred
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required
