A global law firm is seeking a Risk and Compliance Advisor to support the business in the APAC region. The role involves managing risk, ensuring compliance, and supporting business projects. Ideal candidates are legally qualified with over 5 years of experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities. The position offers a dynamic working environment and is based in Singapore.
The role is to provide risk and compliance support to the business in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The APAC region extends across Australia (4 offices) Hong Kong, Singapore, China and Thailand.
The role will involve being part of a regional risk team whose aim is to ensure that the firm develops and maintains the very highest standards in relationships between the professional legal adviser and client, identifies and manages risk and complies with regulatory requirements. The role may include some supervisory responsibility for junior members of the team where relevant and require working closely with other Risk colleagues regionally and globally. The role reports to the Sydney based Head of Legal & Regulatory Risk (APAC).
We are open to the role being based in Sydney, Singapore or Hong Kong. The role reports to the Sydney based Head of Legal & Regulatory Risk (APAC).
The Team
The Risk and Compliance team provide support to the firm's Senior Management and to the wider business, to ensure that the firm develops and maintains the very highest standards of professional conduct, optimally manages risk and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
