Risk Analyst

• Assist the HOD via routine and ad-hoc assignments to ensure that the Branch's credit, market, liquidity, and operational risks are managed efficiently while complying with Head Office and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for timely preparation and submission of Head Office and regulatory reports and requests, ensuring their accuracy and completeness. The report coverage includes but not limited to credit risk (including credit concentration risk and related-party transactions), operational risk (including outsourcing and business continuity), market risk (trading book and banking book) and liquidity risk.
• Assist the HOD in overseeing the risk appetite profile of branch and preparing the relevant monitoring reports and remediation actions as per Head Office and branch policies.
• Assist the HOD in overseeing the new product and service approval process and track the documentation status to ensure the new product and service roll-out is in line with branch policy and requirements.
• Support the function of committees that Risk Control Department acts as secretariat. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to committee meeting logistics, minute-taking, and following up on tasks assigned by the committees.
• Assist the HOD in establishing new and reviewing existing risk policies and procedures for the Branch related to the above mentioned job scope and duties. Work closely with Head Office on related policies and procedures, and obtaining their support to provide expertise, and ensure sound risk management of the Branch.
• Assist the HOD to liaise with Business Units, Head Office and any relevant third parties on risk related matters pertaining to the Branch, which related to above mentioned duties.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Management or HOD.

Requirements

• Min. Degree or above in related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant experience in Risk Management within the banking industry is preferred;
• Proficient in both English and Mandarin language to liaise with internal and external Chinese stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and other office software;
