Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking a TA and Platform Engineer focused on RHEL and OpenShift. You will own RHEL OS fleet maintenance and OCP cluster administration for enterprise workloads, with emphasis on hardening, patching, and secure configurations.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, on-site work in Singapore, and collaboration with application platforms such as IBM MQ or WebSphere in a multi-environment setup (DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD).

Qualifications

• Experience with RHEL 8/9 in enterprise production environments.
• Ability to manage RHEL OS patching cycles (EUS channel management, kernel upgrades).
• Implement OS hardening benchmarks: SELinux, firewalld, auditd, cryptographic policies.
• Troubleshoot kernel parameters, resource limits, and storage mounts in enterprise apps.
• Manage RHEL subscriptions, entitlements, and image registries.
• Deploy, upgrade, and maintain OCP 4.x clusters including control plane health.
• Configure OCP Machine Config Operator for node-level OS customization.
• Administer OCP networking, certificates, and RBAC across namespaces.
• Support integration platforms (e.g., IBM MQ, WebSphere) in HA mode.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the RHEL OS fleet underpinning OCP nodes and apps.
• Plan and execute RHEL OS patching cycles with minimal downtime.
• Implement and validate OS hardening benchmarks per CIS/DISA.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues: kernel, ulimits, cgroups, mounts.
• Manage RHEL subscriptions, entitlements, and image registries.
• Deploy, upgrade, and maintain OCP 4.x clusters and machine configs.
• Configure OCP MCO for node-level OS customization and security hardening.
• Manage Kubernetes certificates, ingress, and HAProxy tuning for workloads.
• Support application platforms and integration points across DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD.
• Contribute to DevSecOps tooling, CI/CD, and IaC practices.
• Assist with AWS tasks like monitoring and IAM where applicable.
