Summary

Profit Seeking Manager is responsible for establishing strategic guidelines that enable the organization to prioritize revenue and profit over volume. This role involves devising and implementing an investment plan that maximizes the return on investment (ROI) of our Direct Financial Resources (DFR) while minimizing channel leakage. The manager will utilize available financial and commercial data, as well as external research information, to provide business intelligence and insights. Serving as a business partner to channel and commercial team members, the Profit Seeking Manager will offer the necessary analysis to formulate trade plans for specific channels, products, or categories and establish guardrails to ensure alignment with the defined strategy.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and establish strategic guidelines that prioritize revenue and profit over volume.

  • Investment Planning: Devise and implement an investment plan to maximize ROI of DFR while minimizing channel leakage.

  • Data Utilization: Utilize financial and commercial data, along with external research information, to provide business intelligence and insights.

  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with channel and commercial team members to offer analysis for formulating trade plans for specific channels, products, or categories.

  • Guardrails Establishment: Establish guardrails to ensure alignment with the defined strategy.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of implemented strategies and investment plans to ensure they meet the desired objectives.

  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on financial performance, investment outcomes, and strategic alignment.

Skills & Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, investment management, and business analysis within the FMCG industry.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and commercial data.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
