Job summary

ADECCO PERSONNEL PTE LTD is seeking a Revenue Accountant in Singapore to lead month-end close for revenue-related accounts, ensuring accurate revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS/ASC 606. You will process journal entries, perform GL reconciliations, and support SOX controls within a hybrid work setup in Singapore.

The role requires strong Oracle Cloud ERP experience, advanced Excel skills, and a track record in full-cycle revenue close.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
3+ years of Revenue Accounting experience (full-cycle revenue close preferred).
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (mandatory).
Solid understanding of revenue recognition standards (IFRS / ASC 606).
Experience preparing revenue-related GL reconciliations (Deferred Revenue, Unbilled A/R, etc.).
Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Basic understanding of SOX/internal control requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end close activities for revenue-related accounts.
Prepare revenue-related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Perform detailed balance sheet fluctuation analysis and investigate variances.
Ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with accounting standards.
Utilize Oracle Cloud ERP to process contractual, billing, and unbilled revenue data.
Support SOX compliance, internal controls testing, and audit documentation.
Participate in system testing (UAT, enhancements, billing tests).
Prepare management reports and support ad hoc financial analysis.
Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize revenue leakage and improve processes.
