Job summary

A grocery retail company is looking for an individual in Singapore to oversee online grocery orders and manage a team of Grocery Shoppers. Candidates should possess a diploma and have at least 2 years of experience in retail or inventory management. The role requires communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work 6 days per week, including shifts and weekends, is necessary.

Job description

You are responsible for ensuring online grocery orders are processed accurately and delivered on-time. The job tasks include inventory management, maintaining pick, pack and delivery standards. You need to attend to order-related enquiries by customers. You are also required to supervise and train a team of Grocery Shoppers and Replenishers in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations and manpower rostering.

  • Monitoring and ensuring Online grocery orders are processed accurately and delivered on time

  • Maintaining SOPs for picking, packing, dispatching and delivery

  • Attending to order-related enquiries by customers

  • Responsible to ensure proper receiving and issuance of goods

  • Perform record-keeping, stock movement control and assist in the return of damaged goods

  • Ensure cleanliness and perform housekeeping of the store area

  • Ensure safe practices and orderliness of the store area

  • Other ad-hoc duties if needed

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/ GCE ‘A’ level/ Higher NITEC/ GCE ‘O’ level with minimum 2 years’ of retail or inventory management experience

  • Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply

  • Basic written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Hands-on, service-oriented, and meticulous team player with good leadership skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with smartphones

  • Able to carry loads up to 20kg
