A leading Japanese retail multinational company is seeking a Retail Supervisor and Retail Manager to lead teams within their stores across various locations in Singapore. Successful candidates will oversee daily operations, implement sales strategies, and ensure exceptional customer service while managing inventory and staff training.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory or managerial experience required.
  • Experience in retail, preferably in apparel/home goods/lifestyle products.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Summary Benefits:

  • Basic up $2900 (supervisor); up $3500 (manager)

  • 5 Days, 44hour/ Week

Responsibilities:

Retail Supervisor

  • Lead and supervise a team of retail staff in managing daily sales and operational activities.
  • Develop duty rosters and set sales targets to ensure optimal store performance.
  • Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Maintain visual displays and merchandising standards in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Train and guide staff on POS systems and cashiering procedures.
  • Conduct on-the-job and customer service training sessions for retail team members.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales and operations reports.

Retail Manager

  • Maximizing sales, optimizing merchandise mix, and managing stock levels efficiently.
  • Analyzing sales data to identify opportunities and implement strategies to boost revenue.
  • Developing and executing improvement plans to enhance store performance.
  • Collaborating closely with Merchandising and Visual Merchandising teams on inventory management and store displays.
  • Conducting on-the-job training and customer service coaching for retail staff.
  • Managing customer feedback and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Coordinating inventory receipt, delivery, and control processes.
  • Overseeing cost control measures and managing store expenses.
  • Ensuring high service levels and improving overall store operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Candidate with retail experience in apparel/ home goods/ lifestyle products will be a plus
  • Min 2-3 years of supervisory/ managerial experience
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
