A distribution company in Singapore is looking for an experienced retail manager to enhance product visibility and maintain relationships with retail partners. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, a diploma, and strong communication skills. Responsibilities include managing inventory, supporting sales operations, and ensuring effective merchandising. Flexibility and problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Retail Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with retail store managers and channel partners to support product sell-through.
Retail Space Management: Secure and expand shelf space and display areas in retail stores, including setup for new spaces when required.
Visual Merchandising: Implement effective in-store displays to enhance product visibility and support marketing campaigns.
Order Management: Take and process orders at the store level to support sales operations.
Stock Replenishment & Display: Ensure shelves are well-stocked, products are neatly displayed, and inventory levels are maintained to prevent stockouts.
Inventory Monitoring: Identify and report damaged or ageing stocks, assist in regular stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
Market & Store Feedback: Provide timely feedback on product performance, competitor activities, and any in-store issues.
Sales Team Support: Coordinate closely with the sales team on customer orders, merchandising requirements, and store support activities.
Meet Sales & Merchandising Targets: Achieve sales goals and merchandising standards according to KPIs.
Outpost & Pop-Up Store Setup: Assist in the setup and execution of temporary outposts or pop-up stores.
Ad Hoc Duties: Carry out other tasks related to retail merchandising and support as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
At least 3 years of working experience in the related field
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma with good communication skill
A team player but also be able to work independently
Willing to travel daily to retail outlets
Versatile and self-motivated team player
Enthusiasm, initiative and passion for goods distribution
Commercially minded and demonstrate the ability to drive result in a multi- channel environment.
Meticulous in ensuring 100% stock fulfilment and consignment stores’ neatness.
Good communicator to work with other departments that are responsible for fulfilling orders or providing service to customers.
Good organisational skills to coordinate all aspects of sales administration
Knack for solving problems with agility and creativity
Flexible mindset and constantly having a learning attitude to evolve to a better and stronger team player.
