Singpet is looking for dynamic sales- and customer service-oriented individuals who are passionate about pets to join the retail team at its Dempsey store.

Job Descriptions and Requirements

The sales associate is responsible for achieving sales, delivering service and operations excellence. As the first point of contact in the store, the sales associate serves as the ambassador of the store.

Responsibilities

1. Achieve sales:
   • Sell products / close sales
   • Use store sales pitch in interaction with customers, deliver product demonstration and advice
   • Document sales transactions
   • Handle after-retail sales services
2. Deliver service excellence:
   • Demonstrate customer service attitude and deliver customer service performance
   • Project a positive and professional image
   • Respond to service challenges
   • Provide Go-the-Extra-Mile services
3. Deliver operations excellence:
   • Perform stock control operations (including receiving, tagging, and transfer of stock)
   • Handle merchandise display
   • Handle promotions and/or events
4. Execute customer order fulfilment
5. Maintain store facilities: including cleaning/tidying of premises and supporting of store displays

Salary to commensurate with experience – basic salary per month/hour plus commissions and applicable benefits
