The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage accounts to participate in Shopee campaigns and work with them to execute and deliver campaign targets
- Drive business growth and financial returns of assigned accounts/brands
- Responsible for sourcing, buying and merchandising of goods for assigned accounts
- Negotiate for the best front and back margin from suppliers
- Manage and maintain content products in online stores under your care
- Develop commercial strategies to meet sales and profit budget
- Ensure optimal inventory level and minimise slow-moving stocks
- Identify and implement process improvements and opportunities for innovation in merchandising and sales
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external parties while meeting deadlines
- Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to meet and exceed goals
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Business Management
- 0 - 3 years in business development, account management, merchandising or related field within the e-commerce or retail industry is a plus
- Fresh Graduates are welcome
- A strong entrepreneurial spirit, with high attention to detail and a proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Highly motivated and ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Passionate and knowledgeable about customer behavior
