A leading company in the retail sector seeks a Retail Operations Manager to drive sales growth and optimize customer experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in retail management, strong sales strategy skills, and exceptional leadership abilities. This role requires analytical thinking and a passion for improving retail operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Manage the overall sales performance of the shop and atrim division, including setting sales targets and monitoring progress towards achieving them.
2. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, increase customer loyalty, and maximize profitability.
3. Coach and train sales staff to ensure they have the product knowledge and sales techniques necessary to meet or exceed sales targets.
4. Monitor and analyze sales data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
5. Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions that drive foot traffic and increase sales.
6. Maintain an attractive and organized shop and atrim area by ensuring products are displayed effectively and shelves are fully stocked.
7. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and addressing any concerns or issues.
9. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors' activities, and make recommendations to management for staying competitive in the market.
10. Conduct regular performance evaluations of sales staff and provide feedback, coaching, and support to help them achieve their targets.
11.Developing a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
12.Identify operational issues and areas for improvement, and make detailed recommendations on how to improve the merchant onboarding experience
13.Responsible for work assignments across your team within defined SLAs and productivity targets set at the department and company level
14. Serve as the first escalation point for all tasks handled by our team.
15.Setting goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Retail Operations Manager or in a similar role, preferably in a shop and atrim setting.
2. Strong knowledge of retail sales principles, methods, and techniques.
3. Excellent leadership and people management skills.
4. Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
