Retail Operations, Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Retail Operations, Assistant Manager to join our team at Sealy Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd. In this full-time role, you will be responsible in supporting the Head of Retail in day-to-day sales and operations within our chain of showrooms.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the sales team to drive customer satisfaction and achieve sales targets

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail stores, ensuring efficient inventory management and store presentation

• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and in-store events

• Monitor and report on key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

• Supervise and train retail staff, providing coaching and development opportunities

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations

• Managing the duty roaster to ensure that stores are well-manned at all times

• Upkeeping the maintenance and display in the stores

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a retail sales or operations role, preferably within the home furnishings or furniture industry

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to understand the concept of premium goods retailing

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate a team

• Proficient in inventory management, merchandising, and operational processes

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities for growth

• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and able to work well under pressure

• Relevant degree in a related field, such as Business or Retail Management
