Retail/ Merchandising Analyst (Up to $6k/ Retail MNC/ 6 months)

The Opportunity

• My client, a reputable organization in the FMCG space, is hiring a Retail Analyst. The role contributes to the company's sales and inventory goals by serving as the centralized function for creating and maintaining sizing across the organization.
• Salary: Up to $6,000
• Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm
• Regional exposure!
• 6-month contract

The Talent

• Minimum Diploma or Degree holder
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in planning or a strong interest in data analysis
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively
• Candidates with no experience but with relevant technical knowledge are welcome to apply, as training will be provided

The Job

• Translate seasonal buying strategies into effective store-level orders
• Assist in negotiating the monthly replenishment budget by providing insights into actual inventory needs
• Ensure optimal stock allocation by aligning with current sell-out trends and customer-driven replenishment budgets
• Forecast stock requirements in line with sales goals, product strategies, and seasonal promotional calendars
• Support sell-out activation efforts through strategic budget alignment and replenishment planning that supports overall business objectives
• Regularly update weekly allocation parameters to improve store-level sell-through via the automated replenishment system
• Set specific parameters for stock build-up to prepare for peak and low trading periods, in line with in-season trading strategies
• Analyze replenishment order results to ensure accurate store deliveries and reduce in-store operational workload
• Prepare detailed reports on order performance and fill rates; respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed
