Job summary

ISHTARA JEWELLERY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee our Indian gold and jewellery retail store in Singapore.

You will develop and implement marketing strategies, identify business opportunities, manage staff, and ensure outstanding customer service to meet monthly sales targets. The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of Indian jewellery design and gold appraisal, and the ability to handle customized orders while maintaining supplier relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' Retail Manager experience in Indian jewellery industry.
• Proficiency in identifying and appraising diamonds and gemstones.
• Expertise in gold appraising and minor repair works on jewellery.
• In-depth knowledge of ethnic Indian design jewellery products, including manufacturing processes and supplier relations.
• Ability to handle customized orders and experience in designing new products based on customer requests.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including day and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Prior experience specifically in the Indian jewellery industry, with a focus on gold and diamond.
