Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Marketing & Sales Operations Consultant (Retail Execution Excellence) to diagnose dealer performance, deploy new commercial capabilities, and transfer capability to the field. You will work across sales, rental, service, and digital operations, coaching teams to sustain gains and embedding standard work.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and extensive travel; the role is onsite five days a week with a focus on rapid, data-driven turnarounds and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Demonstrated experience in sales, service, rental, or retail operations within Caterpillar dealer network.
• Strong understanding of dealer operations, commercial models, customer experience, and digital tools.
• Proven ability to diagnose performance gaps and drive turnaround in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills; self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Winning Culture: implement readiness checks and ensure safety protocols; aim for zero incidents.
• Rapid Diagnosis & Turnaround: baseline performance, diagnose root causes, and develop time-bound turnaround plans with owners and milestones.
• New Commercial Capability Deployment: pilot and deploy go-to-market models, digital tools, and playbooks; scale learnings.
• Relationship & Stakeholder Management: build trust with dealer personnel and customers; manage stakeholders and communicate progress.
• Travel extensively on short notice and work onsite five days a week.
