Role Description

We are looking for a full-time, on-site Retail Executive to join our team in Singapore. The Retail Executive will play a key role in driving the daily operations and overall performance of the retail store. This includes managing store inventory, ensuring optimal merchandising and product presentation, and implementing retail marketing strategies to drive sales and enhance customer experience. The role requires maintaining high service standards, resolving customer inquiries and concerns efficiently, and fostering strong relationships with both customers and team members.

In addition to core retail responsibilities, the Retail Executive will also take the lead in organising and executing in-store and external events, ensuring smooth coordination across different teams. The role involves close collaboration with the Logistics Operations Manager to fulfil ad hoc operational tasks, support back-end processes, and ensure timely execution of stock movement, deliveries, and event-related logistics.

Success in this role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong organisational skills, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and proactive problem resolution.
  • Execute retail marketing strategies, promotions, and campaigns in coordination with internal marketing teams.
  • Lead the planning and execution of retail events, pop-ups, and special activations.
  • Work closely with the Logistics Operations Manager to manage stock movement, delivery schedules, and ad hoc operational tasks.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Train, coach, and motivate retail staff to maintain service and operational excellence.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales, inventory levels, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of retail initiatives with overall business goals.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in retail management or retail operations, with a strong understanding of daily store functions.
  • Experience in leading retail events, pop-ups, or brand activations.
  • Solid knowledge of retail marketing principles and in-store promotional execution.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding shopping experiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate retail staff.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with logistics and operations teams.
