InternSG is launching a retail flagship counter in Orchard, Singapore, seeking a driven intern to join the counter team starting in October 2026. This role provides hands-on skincare consultation experience and active participation in counter operations and client education.

You will shadow senior specialists, learn diagnostic techniques, and assist in maintaining counter presentation and inventory. A clear pathway to permanent roles exists for high performers.

Qualifications

• Proactive, reliable with high energy and attention to detail in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.
• Genuine passion for skincare; willingness to learn; prior retail experience a plus.
• Excellent communication when engaging with department store clients face-to-face.
• Social media familiarity; able to shoot and edit short clips for IG Reels or TikTok.
• Available for 3–6 months starting October 2026 on a 5-day week including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Shadow senior retail specialists to learn skincare consultation techniques and active ingredient regimens.
• Maintain counter presentation, tester hygiene, and daily inventory.
• Operate proprietary skin diagnostic systems and demonstrate beauty devices to walk-in clients.
• Provide warm, educational customer service on the retail floor.
• Mentorship on beauty content marketing, storytelling, and engagement.
• Shoot and edit short-form social content (IG Reels, TikTok, Lemon8, BTS footage).
• Assist in tracking social engagement and brainstorm on-site promotional campaigns.
• Support retail promotions, VIP previews, and counter workshop activations.
• Collate client feedback and foot-traffic observations to share with brand leadership.

• Allowance: S$800 / month + Monthly Skincare Product Allowance




• Commitment: 3 to 6 Months




• Schedule: 5 Days / Week on-site (2 rostered days off; shift work including weekends/public holidays)




• Career Pathway: Potential conversion to a Permanent Full-Time role upon completion

About the Opportunity

We are a research-driven clinical dermocosmetics and beauty-technology brand headquartered in Singapore, blending botanical formulation science with cutting-edge skincare protocols and interactive retail concepts.

We are launching our retail flagship counter inside a premier luxury department store in Orchard and are seeking a high-functioning, driven intern to join our counter team starting in October 2026.

This role offers a direct pathway to a full-time position for candidates who demonstrate dedication, high standards, and a strong work ethic during their 3–6 month tenure.

Key Responsibilities

1. On-Site Counter Operations & Client Experience (Shadowing)

• Shadow senior retail specialists to learn clinical skincare consultation techniques, skin barrier fundamentals, and active ingredient regimens.




• Assist in maintaining counter presentation, visual merchandising standards, tester hygiene, and daily inventory.




• Learn to operate proprietary skin diagnostic systems and demonstrate beauty devices to walk-in clients.




• Provide warm, attentive, and educational customer service on the retail floor.

2. Social Media & Content Creation

• Receive direct mentorship on beauty content marketing, visual storytelling, and retail customer engagement.




• Shoot and produce engaging short-form social media content (IG Reels, TikTok, Lemon8, BTS footage) capturing retail activations, counter displays, and product launches.




• Assist in tracking social engagement and brainstorm fresh ideas for on-site promotional campaigns.

3. Counter Event Support

• Support retail promotions, VIP previews, and counter workshop activations.




• Collate client feedback and foot-traffic observations to share with brand leadership.

Requirements

• Proactive & Reliable: High energy, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced luxury retail environment.




• Beauty & Skincare Interest: A genuine passion for skincare science, cosmetics, or wellness (prior retail experience is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are primary).




• Communication Poise: Well-spoken, confident, and professional when interacting with department store clients face-to-face.




• Social Media Familiarity: Comfortable using smartphone video cameras and editing quick clips for Instagram Reels or TikTok.




• Availability: Able to commit for 3 to 6 months starting October 2026 on a 5-day work week (inclusive of rostered weekend shifts, with 2 fixed days off per week).
